Fasten your seat belts, we are back in business, a turbulent ride is on the agenda today.
Perhaps not as turbulent as planned. Perhaps a seat belt is not necessary after all and we should slow down instead of accelerate. One question after another!
So this other day I was out and about again in my hometown.
While meandering through the streets, I suddenly noticed that beautiful parking garage.
You read right, a beautiful parking garage.
When I entered the building, disillusion quickly arose: I was blinded, not all that shines’s gold.
From the inside, of course, it was far away from being a beautiful place.
I had finished with the matter and my mind had long been elsewhere when at the last second, an awesome rim of an offside parked Porsche glanced at me in my range of view’s corner.
Instead of moving on, I hit the brakes and took a moment. Spotlight on!
For me personally two of the most gorgeous images from recent times.
Not only because they beautifully represent the website’s motto, but also my personal development as a photographer.
In the past, my focus was mainly on making tiny details visible to the human eye using macro photography, but now it’s about downshifting, slowing down, dicovering hidden beauties and details of our everyday lives that otherwise would get lost in the non-stop hustle and bustle.
Make unremarkable things visible. Things one cannot see.
