All things have stories, a history. At first glance, much can be understood and interpreted and the more experience you have, the better you can categorize what you’ve seen.
But without thoroughly and comprehensively investigating a matter, it remains merely a prejudice. You form an opinion based on information and facts available to you, that is all it is.
These are assumptions with no certain level of truth.
Just as one cannot look into other people’s heads, neither can one look behind closed doors. Like people, houses have their history as well, they have experienced many many things.
The past makes them what they are.
But unlike people, houses cannot be questioned. So in the end the first impression remains, a superficial prejudgment, an assumption. Sometimes the truth will never be revealed.
