Choosing that right hotel
A crowd of partying youngsters won't guarantee to relax, same goes for bugs.

As my pal Pitbull used to say: We at the hotel, motel, Holiday Inn!!
Pweh! In this context I have to think of my graduation trip to the Cote d’Azur from the good old school days: A crowd of partying youngsters far away from home.
Our hotel wasn’t really the greatest back then, in fact, it reminded of a gloomy high-rise block building. Somehow the costs for the trip had to be kept low. The funny thing: There was a pool on the roof. On the roooooof.
Due to this, the ghetto ambience was forgotten very quickly. During the day we loitered at the beach and downtown, in the evening in dat ghetto penthouse pool.
The hotel’s regulations were rather a minor priority of us at this time: Music blared across the corridors far beyond night’s rest, and that pool was also being used beyond its opening hours.
I remember other guests and hotel staff complaining to our teachers. We didn’t care. After all, graduation trips like this just happen once in your life.
Shoutout to my boys and girls, god what a brilliant trip that was, and, sorry to them teachers?!
When I’m on vacation now as an adult, I naturally want to relax from work and everyday life. I want peace and quiet. There’s nothing worse than party-hungry teenagers, filthy plagues.
In addition, I now very much value hygiene and cleanliness, at the time it was again a minor matter we thought of. We were part of the problem.
There’s probably been a bug or two scurrying across the hallways too. The last thing I want in hotels these days are insects, definitely. Let these little beasts open their own hotel.
