After the last articles from 2022 spread a rather unpleasant mood, we should start 2023 by letting go of such feelings.Once it was about a fantasy battle, then it was about war-like conditions. Absolut madness. What had gotten into me?
How can we manage to find our peace? By first identifying conflicts, right?
Conflicts are omnipresent and take place every day, several times. Even peaceful people who seek harmony fight every day. But how can it be??
You’re probably thinking of arguments or conflicts with other people now, but what about the ones you carry inside yourself.
What about all your inner conflicts?
You know how it works: Something happens around you. Whether you’re involved or not, it triggers something in you. Resentment. Other negative feelings?
Sometimes even small thoughts in your head’re enough.
After a hard day at work, you lie on the couch in the evening and just want to relax. But then there’s that voice: You haven’t done any sports for a long time, get up, lazybones! But the inner bastard doesn’t feel like it, classic. You are fighting with yourself.
There are two faces, both of which have their own needs. In our case, they can’t be combined: The need for rest is strong, but then there’s the need for physical balance, health, and exercise. Maybe you have athletic goals?
Either you go through life frustrated or you find a solution and resolve your conflicts. You could reflect on your decisions, change expectations, accept a situation as it is or find the good old compromise.
Last year, we started with composure. For the coming year, I wish us the same. We should make this a tradition. With this in mind: Treat yourself like your best friend. Here’s to a new and exciting year! Cheers!
