Recently, I’ve been enjoying standing on our balcony in the evening, shortly before bed, after a stressful day, closing my eyes and breathing fresh air deeply and consciously.
I then let my eyes wander slowly through the green again, and savor the quiet and subtle sounds of nature.
Occasionally, it is really quiet. A rarity in that otherwise so hectic everyday life.
In these moments I like to remember past vacations, for example the one in Puerto de la Cruz.
How beautiful it was there in the botanical garden. And while I am already thinking about botanical gardens, I also think of all them other numerous trips we’d made in the nature.
Where the camera was always with me. That was the time, when photography was still new to me and there was so much to discover.
Thoughts that fully relax me and provide me with new energy.
Maybe I should return here more often in stressful situations, with those thoughts. Not necessarily to my balcony, I mean there are other more beautiful balconies out there! Naaaaaa, rather to all the beautiful places that I have visited so far. To my happy places.
The following picture recently fell into my hands, a remnant of my hard drives from Puerto de la Cruz. I do not know why it did not find its way into the appropriate gallery right away at the time.
